International Paper Poster Competition
The International Paper Poster Competition provides a platform for students and young professionals to showcase their research, innovations, or conceptual studies in the form of academic posters. Participants will present their work to a panel of experts, highlighting the significance, methodology, and results of their studies. This competition aims to promote academic excellence, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhance participants' ability to communicate complex ideas effectively within the scientific community.
International Oil Rig Design Competition
The International Oil Rig Design Competition tasks participants with designing an offshore or onshore oil rig that meets specific operational, safety, and environmental requirements. Teams will be required to consider factors such as structural integrity, equipment selection, environmental protection measures, and cost-efficiency in their designs. This competition encourages innovation in rig design and engineering, aiming to produce solutions that address the challenges of modern oil and gas exploration and production.
International Mud Design Competition
The International Mud Design Competition focuses on the creation and optimization of drilling fluid systems that enhance wellbore stability and drilling performance under varying subsurface conditions. Participants are expected to formulate drilling muds that achieve optimal viscosity, density, and lubricity, while also mitigating environmental impact and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This competition seeks to cultivate advanced technical skills and innovative thinking in the development of environmentally responsible and highly efficient drilling fluids.
International Plan of Development Competition
The International Plan of Development Competition challenges participants to design a comprehensive field development plan for an oil or gas field, considering technical, economic, and environmental factors. Competitors are expected to conduct thorough reservoir evaluations, select appropriate development strategies, and propose feasible project timelines and budgets.
